Back from Japan and am beginning to dig into the rich set of responses on the course.
I love the way that everyone is going deeper and identifying additional resources for us to review and consider.  Love how we will allow the conversation to spiral out.

As I respond to the posts of others I am also developing my own rationale for the work. Online dialogue is a wonderful brainstorming, inspiration for my own thinking.

I am becoming aware of is the idea of convergence as a way that our work is shaped and influenced by all of these emerging trends. We can resist it and protect the borders of our work, but I'm increasingly intrigued as an artist of how my work is an evolution that builds because of the rich new ideas (that are interdisciplinary) I'm exposed to.
